    Gladys Mae (Thorp) Davis, 91, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Shelby County on May 23, 1925, to Forrest Hardy Thorp and Ethel (Alley) Thorp. She married John W. Davis on December 16, 1945, and he survives. Other survivors include daughter Joyce (William) Crane of Milroy, Ind.; daughter, Cheryl (Kenneth) Bass of Shelbyville,Ind; son, Gary (Debra) Davis of St. Paul, Ind.; and daughter-in-law, Kathie Davis of Greensburg,Ind. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Stephen Davis; one sister, Marian Wiley; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Davis.…
