Marjorie (Reddish) Goff, 93 of Crawfordsville, passed away in her home at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born on June 15, 1923 to Otto L. Reddish and Mary Blanche Oglesbee in Waveland, IN and lived most of her childhood in the Byron, IN area. Marjorie was a 1941 graduate of Waveland High School. Marjorie married Charles B. Goff on November 15, 1941 at Phanuel Lutheran Church in Wallace, IN and they celebrated 70 years of marriage together. She was a member of Phanuel Lutheran Church in Wallace, and a member of the Eastern Star in Alamo where she was their pianist. She was also a member of the New Market Women’s Club and Alamo’s Home Economics Club. Marjorie did needlework, was an excellent cook, and especially enjoyed making pies. She was an admirable mother, grandmother and housekeeper.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, Dale F. (Connie) Goff and Kenneth V. Goff, both of Rockville; daughters, Sharon L. Goff of Crawfordsville, Mary Ann (Tom) Bishop of Mt. Comfort and Teresa L. (Pete) Largent of Crawfordsville; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles B. Goff; daughter, Marilyn K. Brown and grandson, Shane Bishop.

There will be a funeral service for Marjorie at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 24, 2017, at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 East Green Street, Waveland, IN 47989 with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Following the funeral service, Marjorie will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery South, Crawfordsville. Marjorie’s family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, April 23 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.
