    Phyllis R. Cummins, 88, of Logansport, passed away Saturday September 29, 2018 at 4:14 a.m. in McKinney Place. Born June 2, 1930 in Cass County, IN to the late Ralph and Della (Azbell) Applegate. On August 19, 1961 in Hoover, IN she married Thomas E. Cummins who preceded her in death on February 13, 2009. Phyllis retired from General Tire in 1986 after 31 years of service. She was born on November 4, 1936 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Ruhland and Ruth Ditto Bollinger. On August 29, 1954, Dora was married to Lester E. Brown in the Wheatland Avenue United Methodist Church in Logansport. Lester preceded her in death January 29, 2016. Dora worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Logansport State Hospital.
