    Lucille May Hammer, 89, of Plainfield, passed away October 31, 2018. She was born in Tell City, IN on May 26, 1929 to the late Frank and Bertha Eckert. Lucille was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother. She loved the beauty of nature, especially flowers. Lucille loved gardening and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hammer; brother, Ralph Eckert. Funeral services will be11 a.m. Nov. 6, 2018 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.
