Paul F. Boekankamp

Paul Boekankamp, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was a graduate of Versailles HS in Versailles, IN where he was born and raised. He served in Korea from 1950-51 in the Army. He graduated from Butler University in 1954 with a BS degree in accounting. He was a Controller for various companies during his career as well as having his own accounting service. Survivors include children: Karen Eddy (Larry), Gerald (Carol) Boekankamp, Dianne Boekankamp, William Boekankamp, Janet Cridlin (Nick), Carol Reed, and Robert (Cheryl) Boekankamp; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; along with his loving devoted sister, Mary Koehler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie of 64 years; daughter, Cheryl Taft; granddaughters, Heather and Samantha Eddy; siblings: Wilma Schwanholt, Harold Bokenkamp, Jo Weifering, Elizabeth Brenner and Martha Dilk; and his parents, Fred and Sophia Bokenkamp.

Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN, with services immediately following at 1pm.
