She was born October 6, 1933 in Texas, the daughter of George and Lena Clark. She worked in the Madison County Treasurer’s office for 20 years and operated Green Apple Gifts at Mounds Mall for several years. Ara enjoyed craft shows and flea markets and loved to shop. She was an avid reader, enjoyed being around children and attending auctions.
