Delores Ann Sutterfield

Delores A. Sutterfield, 86 of Lawrence, IN – died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on May 2, 2021.  Delores was preceded in death by her parents, George and Genevieve Horsley; her husband, Roy G. Sutterfield; sons, Randall and Todd; as well as a grandson, Jason.  She is survived by her son, Douglas (Tonya); daughter-in-law, Patricia; sisters, Connie Stewart and Sallie Booth; along with their husbands, (brothers) Ivan Stewart and James Booth; 4 grandchildren, Heather, Donovan, Troy (Brittaney) and Nick (Chelsey); 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Delores worked for many years as a Loan Collection Agent at Finance Center Federal Credit Union where she eventually retired to enjoy life as a grandma. Delores was a very talented woman who loved to paint and draw in her spare time and loved to share that passion with her family.  She was always there to help anyone in their time of need and was very compassionate about everything she did in life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4-6pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with a funeral service immediately following.  Masks will be required, and guests are asked to please respect social distancing.

Graveside services will take place in McGinnis Cemetery (Union County, IL) on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1pm local time.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society of Indiana.
