CLINTONVILLE [mdash] Gary R. Woodside, 83, of Clintonville and Ocala, Florida, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the AdventHealth Ocala, in Ocala, Florida.

He was born in Clintonville, April 21, 1938, the son of Roy and Helen (Murray) Woodside. He grew up in Clintonville attended AuSable Forks High School.

Gary worked for George Moore in Keeseville for 30 years prior to retiring in 1999.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in both Keeseville and Ocala, Florida.

His life passions were working and spending time with family.

Left to cherish the memory of Gary are, his wife, Lois M. Woodside of Ocala, Florida; daughter, Patricia Gonyea (Roger Dorr) of Keeseville; three sons, Michael of Peru, Jeffrey (Heidi) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Bradley (Karyn Ward) of Clintonville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three step-children, James Cooke of Dunnellon, Florida, Greg Rowe of Keeseville, and Debra George of East Hardwick, Vermont; and five step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Ruth Colby Woodside; one brother, Roger; one sister, Lois Woodside Booth; and daughter-in-law, Kelly Woodside.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11 AM in Holy Name Church in AuSable Forks with Rev. Kris C. Lauzon, parish priest, celebrating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in AuSable Forks.
