    Abdalla “Abe” Elias Badawi was born on March 6, 1928 to Elias and Marie Badawi in Cairo, Egypt. He was the oldest of seven siblings. He spent his youth and early adulthood in Egypt, and immigrated to the United States in 1967. He lived in Indianapolis, Indiana; Springfield, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; and ultimately moved to Colorado in 1995. He died in Louisville, Colorado of congestive heart failure on January 14, 2020 at the age of 91. Abe enjoyed a long career in sales and held positions with Mobil Oil and Qwest Communications. Abe loved his family above all else and worshipped God with all his heart. He had no children of…

    Naydene Fern (Shuler) Jenkins, age 91 of Louisville, passed away on December 23rd.  She was born in Longmont, CO to Viola (Rauch) and Robert Lee Shuler on June 4, 1928. After 9th grade, Naydene stepped away from school to assist in the home with her 11 brothers and sisters. Later she married Joseph Jenkins, who had come to Colorado from Missouri, and the Naydene and Joe welcomed their daughter Judith before moving to California. There, the family operated a dry cleaning business and Naydene was instrumental in supporting the family and the business through those crucial years.
